Dutch "Brownies" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. melted margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2-1/4 c. flour
    powdered sugar (opt.)
    slivered almonds (opt.)
Preparation
    Beat together first 5 ingredients.
    Add flour.
    Mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.
    Bake at 325 for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and slivered almonds if desired.
