Golden Potato Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
1 c. warm mashed potatoes
3 Tbsp. bacon fat
1/4 c. milk
2 eggs
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg.
Beat eggs; add sugar, mashed potatoes and bacon fat.
Beat well; add milk.
Do not beat.
Add dry ingredients and stir until flour disappears.
Set in refrigerator to chill.
Place 1/2 chilled dough on floured board. Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with cutter.
Fry in deep fat at 350\u00b0.
