Buttermilk Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water ground corn meal
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Melt shortening in a skillet.
    Combine 1/2 of the shortening with rest of the ingredients.
    Mix well and pour into hot skillet. Bake at 400\u00b0 until done.
