Herb-Crusted Lamb With Roasted Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 leg of lamb (7 to 8 lb.)
    2 large cloves garlic, slivered
    5 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    2 Tbsp. dried rosemary leaves
    2 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
    2 tsp. ground coriander
    30 small red new potatoes, quartered
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary leaves
    1 tsp. coarse (kosher) salt
    rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
Preparation
    Preheat
    the oven to 425\u00b0.
    Cut slits all over the lamb with the tip of a sharp knife and insert the garlic slivers in the slits.
    Brush
    the lamb all over with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil.
