Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. stewed squash
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 lb. cheese
    1 pkg. stuffing mix, divided
    1/4 stick butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Butter dish.
    Place 1/2 package of stuffing on bottom.
    Mix together squash, salt, pepper, beaten eggs, soup, sour cream, half of cheese and 1/4 of the stuffing; pour over crumbs.
    Add 1/4 package stuffing, sprinkling on top.
    Dot with butter.
    Sprinkle on remaining cheese.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
