    2 1/2 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 c. rolled oats (not instant)
    2 c. yellow raisins
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    4 Tbsp. honey
    4 oz. no cholesterol margarine
    1 1/2 c. skim milk
4 egg whites or 2 egg substitutes
    2 Tbsp. treacle (molasses)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix dry ingredients.
Chop up margarine in as small pieces as your patience will allow.
Attempt to mix evenly into dry ingredients.
Mix egg whites, honey, milk and treacle.
    Pour into other ingredients.
Beat ingredients with a heavy spoon until you get tired of it.
(If it looks too thin, add some more oats.
    If too thick, add milk.)
Spoon into greased muffin tins (they run all over cookie sheets!).
Bake until toothpick comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serve hot with margarine.
They will be a bit chewy.
They freeze okay and microwave hot again.
    Makes about 24 large scones.
    Enjoy.
