Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. unsifted flour
    2/3 c. cocoa
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. peanut butter chips (optional)
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in peanut butter chips, if desired.
    Chill until firm.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten slightly with fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet to wire rack.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
