Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. green peppers
1 lb. beef
3 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Cut both green peppers and beef in slices about 2-inches long and 1/3-inch wide.
Presoak beef in 3 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cornstarch.
Mix and soak for 20 minutes.
Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil until hot on a pan suitable for stir-fry.
Put in beef and stir-fry until light brown.
Put in green peppers and salt and continue to stir-fry for about 2 minutes on high heat.
(Time varies with temperature of stove.)
