Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix sugar and Karo syrup and bring to a boil; stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat; add margarine and cool.
    Add eggs, vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into an unbaked deep 9-inch shell; bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes; then lower to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
