Maple Pumpkin Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1 c. canned pumpkin
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. pure maple syrup
    1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and spice; set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Stir into dry ingredients just until blended (do not overmix).
    Fill paper lined or greased muffin pan 3/4 full.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool 5 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Serve warm.
    Makes about 18.
