Ham Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch cubes
4 medium carrots, sliced
4 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 small onion chopped
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried savory
1 tsp. pepper
just enough water to slightly cover everything
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
Preparation

In a large pot, combine the first nine ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer until vegetables are tender. In a small bowl, combine the flour and milk until smooth.
Stir into stew.
Bring to a boil and boil until thickened.
Discard bay leaf before serving.

Makes 6 servings.
