Baked Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar or more
    1/3 c. baking powder
    3 oz. butter, cold and cut up
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients well, add cut up butter until mixture is rough like corn meal.
    Add buttermilk and egg yolks and raisins all at once and mix until combined.
    Turn out on a floured board and divide into 4 balls.
    Roll each ball into about 1/4-inch circle (like pie shell).
    Cut each one into 6 wedges.
    Place on baking sheet and brush with egg-wash (1 egg slightly beaten with 1 tablespoon water).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
