Chocolate Meringue Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 egg whites
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 c. heavy whipping cream
1 1/4 c. Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat egg whites until frothy.
Add cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form.
Add sugar gradually and beat until very stiff.
Fold in pecans.
Spread mixture evenly on 3 (8-inch) circles drawn on brown paper or baking paper that has been placed on cookie sheets.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Turn oven off and leave meringues in oven with door closed for 45 minutes more. Remove from oven; let cool 10 minutes, then carefully peel off brown paper.
