Asparagus Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh asparagus
    4 tsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. walnuts, chopped
    red leaf lettuce
    cherry tomatoes
    2 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cut asparagus in 1 1/2-inch pieces; place in saucepan with just enough water to cover.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Cook until tender, 4 or 5 minutes. Pour off hot water; rinse asparagus in cold water to stop cooking.
    Place in large plastic bowl.
