Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. milk
    1 c. rice
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. dry vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large pot, bring milk to a boil.
    Add rice and salt.
    Over medium flame, cook milk and rice mixture about 30 minutes.
    Stir often to prevent sticking (until rice is cooked).
