French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices stale bread
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    butter
Preparation
    Mix eggs, salt and milk well.
    Dip bread into mixture, coating each side well.
    Brown both sides of bread in butter on hot griddle.
    Serve hot with syrup, honey or a sprinkling of confectioners sugar.
