Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    approximately 2/3 c. milk
    2 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. mashed fully ripened banana
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. chopped walnuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Place lemon juice in milk to equal 2/3 cup.
    Set aside.
    In a large bowl, place sifted flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Add shortening, bananas and sour milk mixture.
    Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.
    Add eggs.
    Beat for 2 more minutes. Add walnuts, if desired.
    Bake in a Bundt pan in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Cool 1 minute in pan, then turn out on plate.
    May be iced.
