Greek-Style Cucumber And Tomato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large ripe tomatoes
1 large crisp cucumber
1 sweet white onion
1/4 lb. Greek Calamata olives (optional)
1/2 c. olive oil or other vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tsp. crushed dried sweet basil or 2 tsp. minced fresh basil
1/4 tsp. crushed rosemary
salt and pepper
Preparation

Wash the tomatoes and slice into 3/8-inch thick rounds.
Peel the cucumber and slice diagonally into 1/4-inch thick ovals.
Peel the onion and slice 1/4-inch thick, then separate into rings. Arrange all of these vegetables attractively on a serving plate. Sprinkle with black olives.
