Caramel Pecan Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 lb. vanilla caramel candies
    1 c. chopped pecan meats
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. water
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and milk in small saucepan; bring to a boil and cook to the soft ball stage (242\u00b0), stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat and stir in butter; cool. Add vanilla and beat and stir in butter.
    Cool.
    Add vanilla and beat until mixture is firm enough to knead.
