Pennsylvania Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine or bacon drippings
4 c. shredded red cabbage
2 c. cubed, unpared apples
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Heat margarine in skillet; add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes.
