Peaches And Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent rolls
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    21 oz. peach pie filling
    1/2 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    3 Tbsp. Parkay margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sliced almonds or chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Separate dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan; press over bottom to form crust.
    Bake for 5 minutes.
    Combine cream cheese, sugar and almond extract; blend until smooth.
    Spread over crust.
    Spoon pie filling over cream cheese mixture.
    Combine flour, brown sugar and margarine; mix until crumbly.
    Stir in almonds; sprinkle crumb mixture over pie filling.
    Return to oven and bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool completely; cut into squares.
    If desired, serve with whipped cream and garnish with almonds and mint.
