Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 level tsp. cocoa
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Mix food coloring and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture.
    Add salt and vanilla and buttermilk.
    Add flour a little at a time, beating well after each mixture.
    Mix baking soda and vinegar.
    Do not beat after adding baking soda and vinegar.
    Bake in 2 (9-inch) pans for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
