Veggie Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cans asparagus spears, drained
    2 (17 oz.) cans small green peas, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Arrange half of asparagus in lightly greased 21 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Combine next 6 ingredients.
    Stir gently and spoon 1/2 of mixture over asparagus.
    Repeat layers.
    Combine bread crumbs and margarine; sprinkle over top.
    Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 8 to 10.
