Fruit Salad Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c canned fruit juice plus 2 Tbsp sugar or 1/2 c canned fruit syrup
1 Tbsp sugar
2 egg yolks (well beaten)
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
food coloring (optional)
Preparation

Heat syrup or fruit juice.
Combine egg yolks, sugar and salt. Add syrup or juice slowly, stirring constantly.
Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add lemon juice slowly.
Mix thoroughly.
Chill.
