Ingredients

6 c. flour
6 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 tsp. salt dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
1 c. oil
1 1/2 c. white wine or water
3 tsp. or to taste black pepper
3 tsp. or to taste fennel seed
Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients.
Add oil, wine or water and the salt water.
Take small amount of dough, pat into finger shape and knot both ends together.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 minutes or until lightly browned in a 400\u00b0 oven.
