Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
8 oz. LaCreme topping
8 oz. crushed pineapple (save juice)
4 large red Delicious apples, chopped with or without peel
1 c. salted cocktail peanuts
Preparation

Add flour and sugar; mix well. Beat egg and add to flour mixture. Add vinegar and pineapple juice. Cook until thick.
Cool the mixture, Pour over the chopped apples. Add the pineapple and chopped nuts (reserve a few for the top). Mix in the LaCreme and sprinkle the remaining chopped nuts on the top.
