Frozen Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    1 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    12 oz. caramel topping
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and oatmeal.
    Melt margarine; add to flour mixture, along with nuts.
    Spread evenly on a cookie sheet; bake for 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Crumble while hot; cool.
    Put half of crumb mixture in bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Drizzle with 6 ounces caramel ice cream topping.
    Smooth 1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream over this.
    Top
    with remaining crumbs; drizzle with 6 more ounces caramel ice cream topping.
    Freeze.
    Do not use hot caramel topping.
