Wheat Germ Carrot Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. wheat germ
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    1/4 c. cocoa
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. finely grated carrots
    1 c. cooking oil
    1/3 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine wheat germ, flours, brown sugar, cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in large bowl.
    Stir to blend.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir until evenly mixed.
    Turn into 3 greased 8-inch round layer cake pans.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 22 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool in pans for 5 minutes.
    Invert onto racks to cool.
