Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. fresh apples, grated
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
Add alternately flour mixture and buttermilk to creamed mixture, adding the flour at the first and last.
Fold in fresh apples. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
