Cream Cheese Mints - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. half and half
1/4 c. butter
1 (15 oz.) pkg. white frosting mix
1 tsp. peppermint extract
Preparation

Combine cream cheese, half and half and butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Stir over low heat until soft and creamy and butter is melted.
Remove from heat and blend in frosting mix. Stir.
Add peppermint extract.
Roll mixture into balls or drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper lined cookie sheet.
Press with fork or cookie stamp for design.
Let mints stand, uncovered, at room temperature until firm and outside is dry.
Inside should still be creamy.
