Apple Pie(No Apples) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
36 Ritz crackers, broken
2 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Bring sugar and water to a boil.
Add cream of tartar. Add Ritz crackers.
Boil 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Dot with butter.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Add lemon juice. Pour into prepared pie shell.
Cover with top pastry crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown.
