Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. pork spareribs
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. cayenne
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Arrange spareribs in large baking dish. Add onions and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over spareribs. Cover and bake in medium oven about 1 1/2 hours, basting frequently. Remove cover and bake 20 minutes longer. Can also be made with beef spareribs.
