Four Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 (16 oz.) can cut wax beans
    1 (16 oz.) can black-eyed peas
    1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. tarragon
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. white wine vinegar
    1 medium onion
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    Drain liquid from each can.
    Slice onion thinly into rings. Place all ingredients in a large bowl except onion rings and lettuce.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Add onion before serving in a lettuce leaf lined bowl.
