Sour Cream Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. whipped cream
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together in a saucepan.
    Add egg yolks, milk, butter, lemon juice and peel.
    Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly to avoid scorching.
    Cool in refrigerator.
    Stir sour cream into cooled mixture and pour into baked pie shell.
    Chill 2 hours.
    Serve with whipped cream.
    Makes 8 servings.
