Parmesan Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fish, cooked in lemon, onions and salt
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 pkg. cornstarch, dissolved in milk
    2 whole onions, chopped
    4 oz. butter
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt the butter and saute the onions.
    Add the milk and cornstarch mixture; bring to a boil.
    Let mixture thicken, stirring constantly.
    Add the salt; it should get to the consistency of marmalade.
    In a Pyrex dish, pour enough of the sauce to cover bottom of dish; place fish on top and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over this.
    Repeat layers until you have used all the sauce.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until it is golden brown.
    Serve with potatoes.
