Mary Ann'S Salad Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple and juice
    juice of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. shredded American cheese
    1 pkg. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Let first 4 ingredients simmer as you mix gelatine and water and let set 10 minutes.
    Pour gelatine into pineapple mixture and let set until it starts to gel.
    Add 1 cup shredded American cheese and Cool Whip.
    Fold into mixture and refrigerate.
