Grandmama'S Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks creamery butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk (save white)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and spread out on cookie sheet.
Brush top with beaten egg whites and sprinkle top with chopped nuts.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
