Mincemeat - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. ground cooked venison or beef
1 c. ground suet
10 c. ground apples
3 lb. raisins
1 c. sugar
2 c. molasses
1 c. vinegar
2 c. water
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Put all in large kettle or roaster and cook slowly for several hours.
Stir frequently to prevent catching on.
