Ruth'S Original Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. wild rice
    cubed celery
    cubed green pepper
    pimento
    mushroom or cream of celery soup
    hamburger
    chopped onion
    water chestnuts
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Wash and soak wild rice for 4 hours. Boil until near done. Brown beef. Saute celery, onion, green pepper and pimento.
    Last 2 items may be omitted. Add butter and soup. Bake until done. Add liquid if needed.
    Other meats that blend well with wild rice are chicken or pork sausage.
