Mushroom-Sherry Bisque(Makes 4 Cups) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mushrooms (mixed wild and domestic are best)
    1 small onion, coarsely chopped
    2 c. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1 1/2 c. half and half
    salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    sliced mushrooms (for garnish)
Preparation
    Finely chop 1/2 pound mushrooms and onion in blender or processor.
    Transfer to heavy saucepan.
    Add broth.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
