Bama Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cleaned and cut into pieces
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 chopped bell pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet browning and seasoning sauce
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    If gravy is desired, when almost tender, add about 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
    Mix flour, Kitchen Bouquet and 1/4 cup of water.
    Slowly pour this mixture into boiling liquid, stirring constantly.
    (If liquid is not boiling and mixture is not stirred in well, gravy will have lumps.)
    When well mixed, lower fire and continue to simmer until chicken is tender.
