Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice, cloves and cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts
flour

Preparation

Mix all ingredients, adding enough flour to make stiff (but can still stir).
Put into loaf pan and bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
