Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
3 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cornstarch.
Mix and add water.
Cook in microwave until it thickens; cool.
Beat egg whites, salt and vanilla until soft peaks form.
Beating at high speed, gradually add 6 tablespoons sugar and the cornstarch mixture.
Beat until stiff peaks form.
Spoon on pie filling. Seal to edge.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes, then bake at 400\u00b0 for 4 minutes.
