Ingredients

2 lb. crappie fillets
10 oz. buttermilk
6 oz. 7-Up
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 lb. cornmeal
2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. lemon pepper
2 Tbsp. seasoned black pepper
3 Tbsp. seasoned salt
salt to taste
peanut oil
Preparation

Combine buttermilk and soy sauce in large bowl.
Mix together well and set aside.
In large bag, combine cornmeal, flour, lemon pepper, seasoned pepper, seasoned salt and table salt.
Shake well to mix ingredients.
Dip crappie fillets in buttermilk mixture and then in bag.
Shake well to coat fillets.
Deep-fry in peanut oil until golden brown.
