Irish Stew(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chuck beef, cubed
    6 potatoes, quartered
    2 lb. peeled white onions
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 bunch carrots, cut up
    4 stalks celery, cut up
    brown sugar (a sprinkling)
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1 can tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    a few whole cloves
    3 to 4 bay leaves
    2 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place in layers in an ungreased casserole the meat, onions, potatoes, carrots, celery, etc.
