Spanish Rice And Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 c. water
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. original rice
Preparation
    Brown meat in skillet.
    Add water, tomatoes and seasonings. Bring to a boil and boil about 2 minutes.
    Stir in rice.
    Cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Fluff with a fork. Makes 4 servings.
