Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium Vidalia onions, sliced
3 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste
2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in c. hot water
1 1/2 c. bread cubes or croutons
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. shredded Swiss
3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated (fresh is best)
paprika to garnish
Preparation

Saute onions in margarine. Place in bowl. Add flour, salt and pepper; mix well. Gradually add beef bouillon. Fry bread cubes in margarine. Combine with onion mixture. Place in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese and Parmesan. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese is melted, 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
