Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
2 c. sweet milk
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Heat milk. Add butter.
Mix sugar, cocoa, salt, flour and beaten egg yolks. Add to milk and butter mixture. Cook until thickens.
Stir constantly.
When thick, pour into baked pie shell. Add meringue and brown.
In the beaten egg whites, add 1 teaspoon sugar per egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
