Apple Pecan Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 apples
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    heavy cream or whipped cream
Preparation
    Core and mince apples, leaving on the skins.
    Beat the egg yolks.
    Add apples, pecans, lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar and mix well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into apple mixture. Pour mixture into a flat, buttered baking dish and set the dish in a pan filled deep with hot water.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
    Serve hot with heavy or whipped cream.
