Brown Sack Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 qt. popped popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. soda
    nuts
Preparation
    Place popcorn in large brown paper bag.
    Combine brown sugar, syrup and butter.
    Cook 3 1/2 minutes on High in microwave.
    Stir 1/2 teaspoon soda and a little salt into this mixture.
    Add nuts. Pour this mixture over popcorn in brown paper bag and stir.
    Fold over top.
    Cook 4 1/2 minutes on High in microwave, stirring every 45 seconds with a long wooden spoon.
    Pour out on waxed paper and cool.
